Here are some of the most commonly asked questions.
How long is the course?
In order to complete all the modules without rushing we recommend you put aside up to 30 mins per day for 5 days. Whilst the lessons are drip released(meaning you get a new lesson every day) they are self-paced allowing you to set your own learning schedule.
This means you can do the lessons daily or over the weekend when you have 2 hours set aside to learn.
Can I get support from the Coach?
Yes, you can get support from the coach. At the end of each lesson, you will have a section where you can reflect on what you have just learned as well as detailed clarification questions for the coach to respond to.
Will I get a certificate?
Yes, a certificates of participation will be downloadable at the end of the challenge.
How long do I have access to the learning material?
Yes. You will continue to have access to the course after you complete it, provided that you continue to uphold our terms and conditions. This means you can choose to retake the challenge in the course as many times as you like.
How to Install our App?
Once you have enrolled, you will be sent an email with your login details. In the same email, you will have details on how you can download the dedicated 1k Challenge app and start learning. Note that you can also learn via our website without downloading the mobile app.
How can I edit my personal information?
Once you are in the app you can create a profile where you can upload your skills, a little background information plus more.
Can I cancel and request a refund?
Yes, you can cancel any time.
However, full refunds are only available if requested within the first 3 days of starting the programme. After which you can no longer claim a refund.
Do I have to be in Africa to join?
No, you can join from anywhere in the world.
We currently have students from 12 countries outside of the continent of Africa. The majority are from the African Diaspora whilst others are simply intrigued with the course content and looking to learn.
